Haven is YOUR NEW DESTINATION RETAIL PRECINCT, WHERE EVERYTHING YOU NEED IS RIGHT DOWNSTAIRS.
First opened by hospitality entrepreneur David Hales in 2014, Betty’s Burgers & Concrete Co. has become a popular food destination for tourists and locals in Noosa. Named after Hales’ late grandmother, Betty’s Burgers & Concrete Co. have become famous for their burgers, thick shakes and custard-based ice cream. The company has since expanded to Chermside, Surfers Paradise, Robina, Broadbeach, Toowoomba, Darling Harbour and Melbourne and is excited to launch their fourth restaurant at the Haven precinct.
A family run business founded by cousins Stefano De Blasi and Edoardo Perlo, Salt Meats Cheese opened their first food emporium in Alexandria in 2012. The gourmet Italian provedore has since opened five more restaurants in Sydney, one in Surfer’s Paradise and a Brisbane-based food truck. The team is now looking forward to settling into what will be their Australian flagship store underneath Haven. Customers can expect to experience live mozzarella stretching, flaming cheese wheels, bottled cocktails, metre-long pizzas and signature cooking classes.
Known nationally for producing some of Brisbane’s best pastries, cakes and breads over the past 10 years, Jocelyn’s Provisions is set to add to their existing James Street location, with new concept store “Newstead Provisions”. This new venture will expand upon their range of quality meals to the Newstead and Teneriffe area, catering for those who wish to eat at home but don't necessarily wish to cook.
Paradox Co ee Roasters has been a Gold Coast hit and now they’re bringing their wide variety of specialised coffees to Haven. The Coffee Paradox is the co-existence of the coffee boom in consuming countries and the coffee crisis in producing countries. A Paradox Coffee Roasters barista will be in store everyday providing freshly roasted coffees using beans sourced from producers who are receiving fair wages. Try the Paper Moon blend - a classic espresso blend with modern features of smooth nutty notes and a rich cocoa flavour.
Cheeky Poke Bar is the type of place where conversation flows. It’s the newest venture for the owners of Portside’s Fresh N Wild Fish – a family- run business giving old school fish and chips a modern makeover. But, what Cheeky Poke Bar achieves is even more surprising: Hawaiian and Japanese fusion with an Australian twist. Co- owner Sam Demetriou knew Haven was the perfect location to bring this cheeky concept to life and he hasn’t cut any corners. Find out for yourself with a customised Poke bowl with fresh or seared fish, chicken, tofu and a never- ending mixture of rice, noodles, fresh salads and condiments.
